In today's world, stress within our youth has significantly increased. Many tweens and teens experience stress as they become more independent and solve everyday problems.
Having a difficult time staying focused in class; completing homework or tasks on time; managing big emotions, speaking with others without fear, can be signs that a child or adolescence may be dealing with symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Attention Hyperactivity Deficit Disorder, or Autism.
Our child and adolescent counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges that includes, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques such as Play or Art therapeutic techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help children and teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of their life.
