In-Person Therapy

Tele-Therapy Services

Tele-Therapy Services

At Hidden Peaces, I offer individual therapy in a safe, confidential space. In our one-on-one sessions, you will have the freedom to explore your feelings, reflect on difficult experiences, and focus on the areas of life you want to change.

Together, we will work to help you regain perspective, motivation, and the joy that sometimes feels out of reach.

When you arrive, you can take a seat in the waiting area. I will come out to greet you and guide you to the office when it’s time for your session.

For the comfort and privacy of everyone, we ask that no more than one person accompany you into the office.

Tele-Therapy Services

I know that life can be busy, and it’s not always easy to make it to in-person sessions.

That’s why I offer teletherapy. I can meet with you from the comfort of your home or workplace, making it easier to fit therapy into your schedule.

My teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient, so you can focus on your growth wherever you are.

To get the most out of our session, I recommend placing a sound machine or white-noise device outside your door and making sure you’re the only one present, unless it’s a Family Session we’ve scheduled.

Together, we will explore, reflect, and work toward growth, all from the comfort of your own space.

Please note: You must be physically located in West Virginia during your teletherapy session.

Insurance Information

Please reach us at info@hiddenpeaces.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Currently I accept:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Medicaid ( Aetna Better Health)
  • PEIA (within UMR)
  • CIGNA: OON (Out of Network)

If I am not in-network with your insurance, you will be responsible for the private pay rate for your sessions. I can provide a monthly Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company, which may allow you to receive some reimbursement if your deductible has been met. Coverage and reimbursement are determined by your individual insurance plan.

Please note, I do not submit Superbills on your behalf.

Yes, I also offer a limited cash-pay option for individuals who prefer not to use their health insurance. I use a sliding scale ranging from $100 to $200 per session, based on your income and financial situation, to make therapy more accessible.

I agree!

Insurance can be a gift or the bane of our existence.

Here are some terms that you may find helpful.

IN-NETWORK OR OUT-OF-NETWORK

If your provider is "in-network" with your insurance, this means that we have a contract with them to charge you exactly what the terms of the contract is. This also means that we accept whatever the terms are of your plan: such as deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance.  *More on that later*

If I am "out-of-network" with your insurance plan, this means that I have no specific agreement with your insurance company, and I will charge our usual private pay rate. You will be responsible for the full fee of your session and we will provide you with a "superbill" which will have all of the information for you to submit to your insurance company to request some form of reimbursement.

COPAY

If I am"in-network" with your insurance company, you may have a copay of anywhere $10-70$ per session that will be your financial responsibility if your deductible has been met.

DEDUCTIBLE

A deductible is a set amount that you must meet for healthcare benefits before your health insurance company starts to pay for your care. Co-pays are typically charged after a deductible has already been met.  A deductible can range anywhere from $0-$10,000 for example.

COINSURANCE

Some insurance companies rely on percentage fee splits versus flat rates. Meaning that the client may pay 25% and the insurance company will pay 75%.

BENEFITS CHECK

When you schedule your intake, the Office Manager will check your benefits. This means that we will call your insurance directly or access your information via insurance site to obtain your estimate. We will pass this information to you to make sure that you have an understanding of what your charges will most likely be. This is an guestimate. We will never truly know that the insurance company will pay until they respond to the claims that have been submitted.
